Ohio EBT Payment Schedule 2024
At the time you are applying for SNAP in Ohio, they determine how much money you will receive each month. Through the EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) system, your Ohio Direction Card is refilled with money each month, allowing you to purchase groceries from stores that accept EBT cards throughout the US. The information below provides the Ohio food stamps payment schedule and how it is determined when you will receive your refill each month.

If you have not received your Ohio food stamps for this month and verified you were supposed to receive them based on the monthly payment schedule below, then you should contact the help desk to find out the current status.You can get the contact information by calling the same number to check your Ohio EBT card balance, or call the number on the back of your Ohio Direction Card.
EBT Ohio payment schedule
The new issuance schedule will affect only the following groups of people:
- New recipients
- Recipients who experience a 1 day or more break in eligibility because of a failed action
- Recipients who move from one project area to another
Benefits are made available for the above individuals from the 2nd to the 20th of every month, based on the last digit of the client's SNAP case number.

New Ohio Direction Card holders will be notified of their issuance dates when their eligibility and benefits are approved. In addition, all cardholders can call the Ohio Direction Card customer service number 6 days prior to the first of each month to find out when their benefits will become available.
